“ I'm not as familiar with South Indian food as I am with the more ubiquitous curries/tikka masala/etc, but I really enjoy Ruchi. Prices are reasonable and the dosai is very good. The last time I ate here I tried the cherry nadu cauliflower dosai. There's so much flavor packed in and it's so filling that I didn't even remember it was vegetarian. ”
“ We had a great 1st experience! Food was so delicious and flavorful and fast. Customer service was also amazing. The owner was very nice and showed us how to eat certain dishes. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. We will be back! ”
“ We have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious. Made fresh the owner personally weights on you and is more than happy and willing to explain the menu as well as gift suggestions based on your taste the restaurant is clean and they have a relatively new juice bar now. ”
“ Quantity does not equal quality, but Ruchi has it all going on. Their masala dosa arrive at the table far exceeding their comically undersized platters, despite being spacious for any other dish. The crisp yet tender flatbread, buttery but not greasy, conceals a treasure trove of spiced potato filling. I'd say it's a must order, no matter how hungry you are. Bring friends, bring an appetite, and plan for leftovers. It genuinely tastes even better the next day, if that's possible. ”
“ Ahhhhhmaazzing!!! We went there for Father's Day dinner and absolutely loved it. New favorite place! Service was awesome too. ”
“ Everything we ordered here was so filling and flavorful! The gobi manchurian was my favorite because it was crispy which I loved. I appreciated that the spinach dosai was filled with the filling. I would definitely recommend this place to any vegans or vegetarians, the menu has so many options available. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back soon! ”
“ Excellent south Indian restaurant. This is my second time here. It's so close I don't know why I've waited so long to come back. We were greeted by the owner when we arrived. We asked for help with the menu, he asked a few questions and then said he would take care of us! I really appreciate having my dishes spicy. It's cooked when ordered so my meal was prepared how I wanted it! We had a complete experience in terms of great food, cleanliness, hospitality and a decent price for the food. We will definitely be back! * Keep in mind they are closed from 3-5:00. ”
“ Delicious South Indian spot in Chandler with huge portions. We came on a Saturday night and there was no wait - seemed like there were some regulars there. Who I assumed to be the owner took our order and he was super friendly, kinda funny, and happy to make recommendations to us who don't get Indian food often. We got a dosai (crepe-like) filled with spinach and potatoes. It came with some sauces to eat it with which he taught us how to eat. It was huge and so delicious and filling! We also got a gobi manchurian, paneer masala curry, garlic naan, and mango lassi. The gobi manchurian was fried cauliflower with a sweet and sour sauce. Came with rice. A little spicy which my husband enjoyed. Paneer masala curry was yummy. I love paneer bc I love cheese - my husband initially thought it was tofu and he liked it too. Great with the garlic naan which was on the thinner side. Mango lassi was a little too sweet but as expected. They kindly put it in a to-go cup at our request while we were dining in! We had enough food for a whole other meal for 2 at home with leftovers. Only issue was ambiance - we were seated right behind a flickering light bulb that flickered throughout our whole dinner which was a bit jarring. In addition it was quite warm inside - wish they turned on AC. Otherwise the food and service was great, we'll definitely return. You won't miss eating meat coming here! ”
